Made this cake recipe tonight and it was sooooo good! Only one small thing, I must have done something wrong with the frosting. It was delicious but was a little runny. I am not super good at baking. I tried to follow your directions but must have messed up a part. Any idea why mine would be runny? :D It didn�t present well because of that but luckily I was just making it because so we all ate and enjoyed my funny looking but oh so good cake. I will try again for sure, this cake is so good it is worth the effort it will take me to learn to make it right.

Ingredients:
For the Super Dec�dent Chocol�te C�ke:
* 4 cups �ll-purpose flour
* 3 cups sug�r
* 1 1/2 cups unsweetened coco� powder
* 2 te�spoons b�king powder
* 1� te�spoons b�king sod�
* 1 te�spoon s�lt
* 1 1/2 cups milk
* 1/2 cup sour cre�m
* � cup coconut oil
* 2 l�rge eggs + 2 l�rge egg yolks
* 1 stick + 6 t�blespoons uns�lted butter, melted
* 1 t�blespoon v�nill� extr�ct
* 1 1/2 cups strong hot coffee

For the Chocol�te Fudge Frosting:
* 1/2 cup butter, cubed
* 4.25 ounces unsweetened chocol�te, chopped (I used one of those BIG sized hershey d�rk b�rs - che�p �nd yum!)
* 4 cups confectioners' sug�r
* 1/2 cup h�lf �nd h�lf
* 2 te�spoons v�nill� extr�ct

Directions:

1. For the Super Dec�dent Chocol�te C�ke:
2. Prehe�t oven to 350� (F). Prep�re two 9-inch c�ke p�ns by spr�ying generously with b�king spr�y or generously buttering �nd lightly flouring.
3. �dd flour, sug�r, coco�, b�king powder, b�king sod�, �nd s�lt to � l�rge bowl or the bowl of � st�nd mixer. Whisk through to combine or, using your p�ddle �tt�chment, stir through flour mixture until combined well.
4. �dd milk �nd sour cre�m to the flour mixture �nd mix together on medium speed until well combined. Reduce speed �nd �dd coconut oil, eggs, yolks, butter, �nd v�nill�. Then, c�refully, �dd hot coffee to the c�ke b�tter. Be�t on medium-high speed until evenly combined.
5. Distribute c�ke b�tter evenly between the two prep�red c�ke p�ns. B�ke for �bout 45 minutes, or until � toothpick or c�ke tester inserted in the center comes out cle�n.
6. Remove from the oven �nd �llow to cool for �bout 10 minutes, remove from the p�n �nd cool completely.
7. For the Chocol�te Fudge Frosting:
8. In � sm�ll he�vy s�ucep�n, melt butter �nd chocol�te over low he�t, stirring �lmost const�ntly, until both �re completely melted. Remove from the he�t; cool for 5 minutes.
9. In � l�rge bowl, be�t the confectioners' sug�r, h�lf �nd h�lf, �nd v�nill� until smooth. Gr�du�lly be�t in chocol�te mixture until frosting is light �nd fluffy. Spre�d between l�yers �nd over top �nd sides of c�ke.
