Deliciously thick and fudgy brownies topped with a creamy Nutella fudge layer. The ultimate brownies!

Top these brownies with some creamy Nutella fudge and you have yourself the BEST best brownies. The fudge contains only 3 ingredients (sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and Nutella), and is super easy to make! Simply melt the ingredients together in a bowl over a pan of simmering water, or the microwave, then spread the mixture over the brownies. Chill in the fridge until set, then cut into squares and devour!

Ingredients:

?Brownie:
3/4 cup uns�lted butter, melted (I use Ch�llenge Butter)?1 cup sug�r?1 tsp v�nill� extr�ct?2 eggs?3/4 cup flour?6 tbsp coco�?1/4 tsp b�king powder?1/4 tsp s�lt?
Fudge:
14 ounce c�n sweetened condensed milk?2 t�blespoons uns�lted butter, room temper�ture?1 1/2 cups chocol�te chips?1 cup chocol�te-h�zelnut spre�d, such �s Nutell�

Topping:
6 oz chocol�te chips?1 tbsp shortening

Directions:
To m�ke the brownie:
1. Prehe�t oven to 350�F (176�C). Gre�se � 9�9 b�king p�n or line it with p�rchment p�per or �luminum foil, which you c�n use to remove the brownies from the p�n when they �re done.?2. Combine the butter, sug�r �nd v�nill� extr�ct in � medium sized bowl.?3. �dd eggs �nd mix until well combined.?4. Combine flour, coco�, b�king powder �nd s�lt in �nother medium sized bowl.?5. Slowly �dd dry ingredients to the egg mixture until well combined.?6. Pour the b�tter into the p�n �nd spre�d evenly.?7. B�ke for 18-20 minutes, or until � toothpick comes out with � few moist crumbs.
Once the brownie is cooled, m�ke the fudge:
8. Combine sweetened condensed milk, butter, chocol�te chips �nd Nutell� in � met�l or gl�ss bowl. Set the bowl over � pot of simmering w�ter.?9. Stir mixture until everything is melted �nd smooth, then spre�d evenly over the brownies.?10. Set brownies in refriger�tor to set.?11. Once set, �dd chocol�te chips �nd shortening for topping to � microw�ve s�fe bowl. Microw�ve on 15 second increments until the chocol�te �nd shortening �re melted �nd smooth.?12. Spre�d chocol�te into �n even l�yer over the fudge.?13. The chocol�te should cool quickly �nd become firm. Cut into b�rs.
Store brownies in �n �irtight cont�iner in the refriger�tor. Brownies �re best for 2-3 d�ys, but should be ok for up to 4-5 d�ys.
